I have explained that the fallen beings came to earth a very long time ago and that ever since then, they have attempted to distort what people know. I have also explained that the fallen beings were allowed to come here because people had created closed societies in which they were not growing. Why are people not growing? It is because they are not taking responsibility for themselves. Instead of using the ability to know truth from within, they are seeking to let other people do their thinking for them by following an external authority.

The ascended masters could see that if a majority of the people on earth kept following their relatively benign leaders, then the planet would eventually self-destruct. The masters knew that by introducing the fallen beings, people would soon start following them. The masters also knew that the fallen beings would create such bizarre consequences that it would be difficult for people to continue to blindly follow these leaders. People would simply have to acknowledge that blindly following the fallen beings would lead to such outrageous consequences that they would have to wake up and take responsibility for themselves and their societies. This hope has to a large degree been fulfilled, as you see in the democratic societies of the modern world. What remains is simply the last step of people becoming aware of the existence and influence of the fallen beings so we can get them off this planet for good. But I am again getting ahead of myself.

When Jesus started his mission, it was clear to the ascended masters that most members of the general population were not ready to follow the path to Christhood directly. That is why it was decided that Jesus would teach at two levels. One level was for the general population, and for this he gave his parables and other outer teachings (many more than recorded in the scriptures). The other level was for those who were ready for the path, and to them he gave a much more advanced teaching about the path to Christhood. This teaching could not be written down because the fallen beings would then have perverted it. And it was not necessary to write it down as long as the tradition of the Living Word was maintained.

Jesus therefore intended to create a movement that had two levels. It had an outer teaching that gave people certain rules and teachings that could help them live their daily lives in a more aware manner. The purpose was to get people on a gradual path that would eventually lead them to the point where they were ready to engage in the path to Christhood directly. When people had become ready for this, they would then have a structure of more mature people who had already walked the path. They could guide the newcomers as Jesus guided his disciples. The newcomers would then receive much of the teaching that Jesus gave to his disciples, but in a constantly updated form, adapted to the times.

One of the main purposes behind Jesus training his many disciples was that they would form a movement where there was made available to the people this inner, mystical path. His disciples would be following this path so that they could serve to help others, as people became ready for it by following the outer teaching. Had this been maintained, your local priest (in order to receive ordination) would himself – or herself – have followed the mystical path and reached a certain level. He or she would therefore have found inner answers to the deeper questions of life and would have had more to offer you than the claim that there are no answers to your questions and that there is something wrong with you for asking questions that the church (meaning the fallen beings) cannot answer.

The last thing I want to mention here is that if you look at the official picture of Jesus, you must reason that he was very cruel in first coming here to stir things up and then leaving us alone with a promise that he will return sometime in the undetermined future. As I have explained, Jesus fully intended to keep his promise: “I am with you always, even onto the end of the world.” He intended to do this as an ascended master through the tradition of the Living Word. You simply cannot understand why this promise has not been fulfilled unless you know what I have told you about the fallen beings.

To the fallen beings, the ultimate threat is that a person becomes the open door for a flow of the Living Word from the ascended masters. The fallen beings know that they can never qualify to have this flow, and although they can imitate this (as many modern channelers do), they can never reach the real thing. Secondly, they cannot pervert the Living Word. They can never gain control over it because it comes directly from the ascended masters—there is no interpretation or mediation needed. The fallen beings want scriptures that are written down because then they can interpret them, and through duality they can distort anything. The Living Word cannot be interpreted while it is flowing. It can be interpreted afterwards if it is written down, but if there is an ongoing tradition for having the Living Word, then new messages can correct and challenge such interpretations. Therefore, what Jesus attempted to do, by creating a movement with the flow of the Spirit, was seen as the ultimate threat by the fallen beings, meaning they have done everything they could think of to destroy it.

Why have they been successful? Because a majority of the people have gone along with them in denying the Living Word. The reason is simple, namely that people are not willing to take full responsibility for their salvation and state of mind. The Living Word is highly disturbing to people, as demonstrated by Jesus himself.

그들이 (왜) 성공했을까요? 【대다수의 사람들】이 【살아 있는 말씀을 부정하면서】 그들에게 동조했기 때문입니다. 【이유】는 간단합니다, 즉 사람들이 【그들의 구원과 마음 상태】에 대해 기꺼이 완전한 책임을 지지 않는 것. 【살아 있는 말씀】은 사람들에게 매우 불안감을 줍니다, 예수가 직접 보여준 것처럼.
